The CSM2042 ultra low quiescent current regulator features low dropout voltage and low current in the standby mode. The device retains all of the features that are common to low dropout regulators including a low dropout PMOS pass device, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The CSM2042 has a 40V maximum operating voltage limit and ±2% output voltage tolerance.

With less than 1.5μA quiescent current at no load, the CSM2042 is ideally suited for standby MCU systems, E-meters, fire alarms, smoke detectors and other battery operated systems.

The CSM2042 series available in Green SOT-23-3, SOT-23-5, SOT-89-3(L-Type), TO-92 and ESOP-8 Package. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
